Call to action: volunteer for candidates and vote!

People over Party.
Hi! I'm Angie. I'm a community organizer and human rights advocate in Omaha. I have a wonderful husband named Bill, three terrific kiddos, one dog, and two fat cats. While we've made our home here in North Omaha, I am originally from rural western Nebraska and work to advocate for Nebraskans across the state. I was first galvanized into action during the 2016 elections. Since then I've had the opportunity to assist with the organization of numerous rallies, protests, and efforts for humanitarian aid. I have become a proud intersectional feminist with a calling to serve my community and state. Actions I'm most proud of include founding the Nebraska Progressive Legislative Study Group and the DCDP Women's Caucus. After numerous attempts to meet with representatives and enact change, I became frustrated and decided to run for office myself. In 2019, I announced my run for the U.S. Senate determined not only to be heard, but to uplift the voices of my community. I placed 2nd in the Nebraska Democratic primaries in a crowded race with 6 candidates. Thanks to an amazing grassroots effort and an all volunteer team of mostly women, we did this with about $15,000 in donations, absolutely no personal money to assist my campaign, and despite being what I would argue the most progressive candidate ever to have run to represent Nebraska in the US Senate. Thank you for visiting my website and for helping me continue to uplift the voices of our community.
If you support the work I am doing and are able to make a contribution to assist with costs, please donate what you can.
